We kicked off the Room-In-The-Inn season on November 1. We host 12 of our unhoused brothers 2-3 times a month from November-March. Here is what we provide: a warm place to stay, dinner (tonight was steak, homemade scalloped potatoes, corn, and dessert: cookies, cake, and ice cream). We give them a toiletry bag, clothes as needed, a mint on their pillow, offer a shower, wash their clothes, turn on Sunday Night Football, provide breakfast in the morning, and a sack lunch to go. Being so blessed by God, this is another way we are following Jesus’ example and “calling” to be a blessing to others. It truly feels great to help so many in our community. Come join us.
